Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assists with daily event setups, technical requirements, furniture, equipment, cleaning etc.
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to guests and clients; Enforces Highlands Ranch Mansion policies.
- Relays all pertinent information/issues to staff members as appropriate.
- Reports deficiencies with equipment or furniture for proper functioning before setting up in an event space; Maintain orderly appearance in all storage areas.
- Assists with resetting spaces after events/meetings.
- Maintains a neat and clean appearance of the Mansion Facility and grounds (in coordination with staff and/or vendors).
- Relays outstanding/pending items to replacement shift prior to being relieved.
- Attends required staff development meetings/programs/trainings.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
- Attendance of at least two years of high school or equivalent.
- Working knowledge and experience of event support is preferred.
- Ability to perform the essential duties listed above.
- Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, participants, guests, and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of events is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Problem-solving skills in setting up/prepping event space, assigning equipment, resolving last-minute requests from clients.
- Represent the District in a professional manner, exemplifying integrity and excellence always.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
This is a part-time position working up to 16 hours per week, mostly during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Supervision ReceivedWorks under the general supervision of the Sales & Events Coordinator and the direct supervision of the Event Associate.
Tools and Equipment UsedGeneral office, catering, and event set-up equipment are used as well as cell phones, various small hand tools, and cleaning supplies.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud when working during an event.
