About the Role
Burke is seeking motivated Information Systems Interns to support the I.S. Department during the summer. This role assists with basic IT operations and provides hands-on learning opportunities in a nonprofit healthcare environment.

This position is ideal for students interested in information technology, computer systems, or gaining real-world IT experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide basic technical support for staff
• Assist with computer setup and user accounts
• Help with system updates and equipment tracking
• Support documentation of IT processes and procedures
• Participate in small IT-related projects
• Shadow I.S. staff to learn daily operations

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Basic computer and troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred:

• Some experience with IT support or troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer systems

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 20-30 hours per week

Compensation

• $7.25 an hour

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent computer use and hand/finger dexterity
