Salary position offering a 4-day workweek. Salary listed does not include year-end bonus

• Monitor Team Member’s safety, quality, and productivity performance and attendance.
• Schedules production for Team Member’s to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Works with Sales, Purchasing, and General Manager to acknowledge orders in a timely, accurate manner.
• Ensure that all Finishing Department Team Members perform their duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Controls master samples and controlled documents for department’s manufacturing processes.
• Hire new Team Members when required and ensure that all training is being performed.
• Handles departmental personnel issues.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for continuous improvement efforts.
• Promote team efforts in developing and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform leadership functions in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values Statement to create a culture that supports the long-term sustainability of the Company.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining direct reports; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associates preferred.
• 5 years’ proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Effective communication, organizational, leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be proficient with computers.
• Strong math skills.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• This position is deemed a safety sensitive position always requiring alertness.
• Able to read, write and fluently communicate in English.
• Successful results of completed Post Offer Assessment Test and Post Offer Drug Test required.
