Midlab is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead our shipping operations and ensure accurate, timely delivery of customer orders. This role is responsible for overseeing daily shipping activities, supervising warehouse staff, maintaining productivity and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement within the distribution operation.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance team supervision with active involvement on the warehouse floor to keep operations running efficiently.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely shipping of products. This position leads and motivates a dedicated team, oversees shipping operations, and implements best practices to optimize workflow. This position is also responsible for maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversee daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate shipping of products.
- Monitor and manage shipping department personnel
- Ensure compliance with all shipping/DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and inventory levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipments or deliveries.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory management teams to optimize shipping processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce shipping costs.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners to address shipping inquiries and requirements.
- Ensure the proper handling and packaging of goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain certification with an OSHA MHE license and be able to safely operate any of the Midlab MHE.
- Ability to properly use the RF Equipment in any warehouse function required.
- Safety and housekeeping procedures followed. Maintain a continual alert for hazardous conditions. Wears all required PPE.
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Previous Order Selector/Warehouse experience
- Forklift/Reach Truck experience required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work cross functionally
- Ability to lift 50lb
