Food Service Supervisor | Palmetto Gen Hospital | FT | $18hr at LEMONTREE HEALTHCARE SERVICES LLC – Hialeah, Florida

Supervises daily food and nutrition operations in an acute care hospital and oversees food service staff. Ensures safe, efficient patient meal service, regulatory compliance, and high patient satisfaction.

Shift: 11:30am to 8pm Schedule M-F

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise food production and service activities across assigned areas

• Monitor and ensure compliance with diet orders and food safety standards

• Coordinate staffing and workflow to meet service demands

• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and healthcare team members

• Maintain accurate operational and performance documentation

• Enforce policies, procedures, and safety practices

• Respond to operational issues and patient service concerns

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3 years minimum experience in a healthcare or institutional food service environment

• Supervisory experience preferred

• ServSafe certification required or obtained within timeframe

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently

• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance

• Ability to push meal carts and equipment
