We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Expert Panel Task Lead to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position directs the execution of Technical Expert Panel activities, overseeing statistical and methodological review tasks and ensuring delivery of clear, accurate, and actionable expert guidance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Lead Technical Expert Panel subtasks, managing scope, schedule, and resources for assigned panel activities.
· Assemble and manage subtask teams supporting expert reviews, analytic evaluations, and methodological consultations.
· Direct production and delivery of all Panel communications, artifacts, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with National Institutes of Health (NIH) requirements for clarity, accuracy, content, and quality.
· Serve as the functional lead for critical analytic and methodological domains, including data linkage approaches, statistical validation, and privacy preserving analytics.
· Facilitate and support Technical Expert Panel meetings, discussions, and consensus building activities.
· Translate complex technical topics into clear recommendations and documentation for project leadership and federal stakeholders.
· Monitor progress and quality of expert panel outputs and address issues that could affect task success.
· Communicate clearly and professionally with Project Managers, technical staff, and federal stakeholders.
· Technical background sufficient to understand and manage subject matter involving statistical methods, linkage methodologies, and program management activities.
· Demonstrable experience successfully leading tasks at or for a federal agency or organization.
· Current professional certifications commensurate with assigned duties.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Experience leading or supporting technical expert panels for federal research initiatives.
· Familiarity with privacy preserving data analysis methods and linkage validation techniques.
· Experience preparing methodological guidance, analytic recommendations, or peer review style evaluations.
· Experience working with interdisciplinary teams spanning statistics, behavioral science, and data engineering.
· Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, behavioral sciences, or a related field.
· At least five (5) years of technical experience in statistics, analytics, data linkage methodologies, or related disciplines.
· At least two (2) years of experience serving as a Task Lead on tasks of comparable size and complexity.
