Maintenance Technician at THOS MORAN & JOHN T BLACK PTR GATEWAY PARTNERSHIP – Minneapolis, Minnesota

RMK Management has a immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician. This is a terrific opportunity to work with a company that is growing and has great benefits.

Complete daily work orders within 24 hours.

Complete work orders in prompt and efficient manner and submit to the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor at the end of each day.

Perform maintenance as required to have apartments in a move in condition on a timely basis.

Perform preventative maintenance in buildings as required. Items to be included are change filters, replace lock batteries, repair light fixtures, repair doors, etc.

Diagnose and repair appliances.

Must take after hours on call for 7 days every 4 weeks.

Participate in snow removal as needed.

Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and hazardous chemical program.

Maintain courteous communications with all people in contact with.

Comply with Fair Housing and Federal Trade Commission requirements.

Maintenance of pool and spas including vacuuming, testing chemicals, etc.

Assist in maintaining all common grounds as required.

Assist Maintenance Supervisor in performance of all maintenance as required in conjunction with the request of the Property Manager.

Any other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned by the company from time to time.

Must have 2-3 years of apartment maintenance experience.

Must have their own hand tools.

HVAC Certification

Must have some knowledge of carpentry, appliances, electrical, and plumbing.

Must be able to work independently and also as a valuable team asset.

Must pass background and drug screening prior to employment.
