About This Position

Job Title: Service Technician

Report to: Service and Training Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, first shift, overtime on any hours worked above 40 hours per week

Compensation: $25 per hour plus overtime, Bonus up to $10,000

Location: On-site in Pleasant Prairie, WI

Position Overview: As a Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the repair and maintenance of The Ocenco Group Products. Your responsibilities will include the repair of intricate technical equipment, which encompasses mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring these systems are restored to peak functionality promptly and efficiently.

Accountability and Duties:

  • Perform meticulous service work on equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively as a key team member.
  • Obtain certification to service Interspiro branded equipment.
  • Conduct cylinder care and maintenance, including Hydrostatic cylinder testing.
  • Interface with computer systems connected to testing equipment.
  • Diagnose technical issues and devise effective repair solutions.
  • Maintain detailed service reports and comprehensive records of performed services.
  • Manage internal inventory and invoicing using internal computer systems.
  • Engage with customers or distributor representatives as required.
  • Maintain stock of training service kits
  • Maintain stock of training tool kits
  • Prepare classes in an orderly fashion making the facilities representable
  • Plan upcoming classes and publish these events online
  • Communicate, plan and coordinate with customer on booked dates
  • Maintain service documentation and report any errors to responsible department
  • Maintain and own admin connected to Interspiro eLearning
    - Theory prior to class
    - Exams post class
    - Certificate support
  • Required Education and Experience:

    • A 2-year technical degree or equivalent military training in a technical field is required.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role demonstrating technical repair proficiency on mechanical or pneumatic products.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing technical issues.
  • Familiarity with navigating various software systems.
  • Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift a minimum of twenty-five (25) pounds
