Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Neurophysiologist to join our growing clinical team. This role requires independent intraoperative monitoring across a variety of surgical procedures, including spine, craniotomy, ENT, and vascular cases. Candidates must be confident in managing complex cases and collaborating directly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and supervising neurologists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently perform multimodality IONM (SSEP, TcMEP, EMG, BAEP, cranial nerve monitoring, etc.)
  • Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot monitoring equipment in real time
  • Identify and communicate significant waveform changes to surgical and anesthesia teams
  • Document case findings accurately and in compliance with protocols
  • Collaborate with remote or on-site neurologists for case oversight
  • Mentor junior technologists as needed and support clinical education initiatives

Requirements:
  • CNIM certification preferred (or eligible)
  • Minimum 2 years of independent IONM experience preferred
  • Proficiency across multiple modalities including SSEPs, EMG, and MEPs
  • Strong intraoperative communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different hospital systems, teams, and workflows
  • Willingness to work early-morning and occasional after-hours case
