We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Systems Reporting Analyst. This position offers flexibility to work remotely from Texas or in a hybrid capacity from one of our offices in Arkansas or Oklahoma.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is within the Financial Systems and Processes group and is primarily responsible for performing the financial consolidation and reporting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining SAP and Oracle master data, and leading/supporting process improvement initiatives across finance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and distribute consolidated financial statements. Support financial system transformation initiatives.Document end-user reporting requirements. Support master data coordinator for SAP and Oracle Facilitate problem solving sessions for financial reporting concerns.Prepare process and procedure documentation. Perform ad-hoc reporting from SAP and Oracle
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor or higher in accountingFunctional knowledge of how master data impacts financial reporting Minimum two years’ experience in accounting or financial systemsCPA or progress toward certification preferred but not required.Previous utility accounting experience preferred but not required.ERP transformation/implementation experience preferred but not required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Exceptional communication skills, including scheduling and leading cross-functional meetings.Work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in creating and maintaining end-user documentation and performing comprehensive training. Desire to engage in problem-solving and develop and implement solutions to reporting challenges. Ability to interpret journal entries and the resulting impact on financial statements.Willingness to take initiative to investigate emerging reporting concerns.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
