About This Position

What is required for this position:
- The Command Center is the control system for the placement of patients and the scheduling of staff resources within the inpatient nursing units of the hospital.
- As a member of this team you are integral to ensuring that the patient flow within the hospital is smooth and contributes to an overall positive patient experience.
- The Nursing Administrative Coordinator is an experienced registered nurse who is responsible for coordinating care and practice across nursing and clinical departments and troubleshooting urgent and emergent issues in clinical care as needed.
- Our Nursing Administrative Coordinator (NAC) in the Command Center have an hourly base rate of $38.14. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- The day PRN position (7:00am-3:30pm) is not benefit eligible but offers a premium for hours worked, and the scheduled hours depend on the needs of the department and our patients.
What is required for this position:
- Upon hire, you must have:
- Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
- Five or more year's clinical experience in acute care preferred.
- Previous experience as educator and or project management preferred.
- Within 30 days of hire you must have (training & time provided to acquire certification):
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
- This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
