JOB SUMMARY:
The Stillwater Collaborative Care Assistant is responsible for organizing the functions of Stillwater Collaborative Care and the SCC Population Health Management Program (PHM). This includes completion of monthly financial reports, monitoring data, and maintaining records. This employee must understand the SMC HealthPlan, provide support for processing claims and assisting covered members with receiving health care. This employee is also responsible for guest relations as one of the initial contact people on-site and with calls for Stillwater Collaborative Care Health Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • LPN or MA experience preferred.
  • Electronic Medical Record experience strongly preferred, Epic experience a plus.
  • 3 years of experience with insurance claims, patient accounting or central business office strongly preferred.
  • Must be familiar with medical terminology, medical billing and revenue codes.
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to speak clearly and distinctly with staff and patients.
  • Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare and read documents accurately.
  • Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
  • Must be able to talk and hear, or adequate hearing with corrections, to converse with others, in person, and over the telephone.
  • Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to operate equipment.
