JOB SUMMARY:
The Director is responsible for overseeing the facility and to report to the Vice President of Patient Care Services / Chief Nursing Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Satisfactory work experience, demonstrating knowledge and skill, interest, leadership, and willingness to accept responsibility.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in area of surgery.

Preferably five year's management experience.

Bachelor's degree required. Preferably BSN/BBA degree or related degree for the field.

Master's Degree preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare and process information, supervise practice of employees, and monitor the environment.
-
Must be able to talk and hear, or adequate hearing with corrections, to converse with others in person and over the telephone.
-
Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete necessary work schedule.
