Storm Student Broadcasting Internship at Harrisburg University – Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the HU Storm as a Broadcast Intern. As a Broadcast Intern, you will be responsible for producing live broadcasts of matches and events. In this role, you will work alongside our HU Storm Intern cohort and HU Storm

leadership team to produce, promote, and execute Twitch streams.

Due to the nature of this role, we’re looking for an inventive and creative person who will bring fresh ideas to the table and is excited to implement them. This role involves evening and weekend work, as well as event work when required. As a broadcasting intern, you can expect around 15-20 hours of work per week. Paid opportunities available.

Responsibilities

1. Primary point of contact for set up and operation of broadcast equipment.
2. Monitor and adjust audio and video quality during live broadcasts.
3. Clip and edit content from streams for social media posts.
4. Collaborate with the team to develop new ideas for content and broadcasts.
5. . Assist with other HU Storm assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Some experience streaming on Twitch, YouTube, etc. and with OBS, Streamlabs, vMix,or other streaming software.
2. Some experience with video and audio equipment and software.
3. General knowledge of Valorant, Rocket League, League of Legends and other esports titles.
4. .Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
5. .Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. .Must be available to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
7. .Passion for esports, gaming, and streaming.
8. . Basic knowledge of collegiate esports teams, leagues, etc.
9. .Currently enrolled full-time, in-person as an undergraduate student at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.
