Software Delivery Manager in Springfield, Virginia at VAE INC

ITPIE, seeks a Software Delivery Manager with a demonstrated history of program execution of software delivery projects into government and commercial environments. This Software Delivery Manager will have the proven ability to manage teams, execute projects, work with stakeholders and engage customers to successfully achieve product adoption in customer environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Promote ITPIE product adoption, use and prevalence within current and future ITPIE in-premise and SaaS customer environments. (SaaS experience preferred).

• Manage the execution of multiple ITPIE contracts to include developing schedules, budgets, overseeing resources, project deliverables, contractual requirements, task coordination, release updates, and customer relationships.
• Define scope, and manage one or more ITPIE customer contracts
• Work directly with ITPIE customers and ITPIE Product Manager, and Director of Software Development to inform and relate customer requirements and user experience for software roadmap development and development milestones considering both short- and long-term objectives.
• Serve as the â??Voice of the Customerâ? and advocate to the ITPIE Product Manager, Director of Software Development and ITPIE Sales Account Managers to provide critical ongoing regarding user experience, feature requests, current and future customer requirements.
• Oversee, manage and direct ITPIE Resident Engineers ensuring compliance with ITPIE contract deliverables and superior customer performance.
• Participate in go to market plans, strategies, development of marketing materials and product/service value propositions for on-premises and SaaS ITPIE products and related offerings.
• Manage coordination of ITPIE certifications (e.g. FEDRAMP, ISO, CMMI, etc), with requisite support from ITPIE Product Manager, Director of Software Development and additional Operations teams.
• Support the development of proposal responses for prospective ITPIE customers
• Brief project updates, gaps/roadblocks and other pertinent information to ITPIE Senior Leadership and customers as needed.

• Bachelorâ??s Degree and 12+ years of experience in project management for similar projects (Software Delivery, IT Service Management, Enterprise Government Networks, IT Governance, etc.)
• Experience managing teams of 10 or more personnel
• Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) deliveryÂ
• Able to travel to local, Washington DC Metropolitan Area (WMA), customer sites as needed, estimated 1-2 times per week.
• Willing to travel outside of the WMA to support current and prospective customer meetings, estimated 10%
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills to present at all levels of an organization
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD security clearance up to Top Secret
