JOB TITLE: Machinist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience and be proficient in operating manual lathes, milling machines, and performing cylindrical grinding. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to support our production and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain manual lathes and milling machines to fabricate, modify, or repair parts and components.

· Perform cylindrical grinding to achieve precise dimensions and surface finishes.

· Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

· Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to required tolerances.

· Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment.

· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a machinist.

· Proficiency in operating manual lathes and milling machines.

· Demonstrated expertise in cylindrical grinding techniques.

· Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

· Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

· Knowledge of machining a variety of materials, including metals and composites.
