POSITION SUMMARY
-
The Medical Oncology Nurse services as the Office Nurse for the Medical Oncologist. Manages patient appointments, new referrals, prescription refills, prior authorizations, and symptom management. The Oncology Nurse provides necessary assessments, administers treatments and communicates with the multidisciplinary team to help develop a plan tailored to each patient’s needs.

BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer

Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Trained within 6 months of DOH/Transfer
