Shipping Coordinator & Inventory Controller in Hopewell Junction, New York at Spectral Systems, LLC

General Accountabilities:

This position ensures ALL products are quality packaged and shipped. Adhere to all Import/Export Compliance Regulations. Utilize various carriers for cost savings and retain meticulous documentation. Processes all incoming purchased products through MRP system. Maintain Inventory and perform cycle counts.

Specific Accountabilities:

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

· Prepare product for shipment to customers using proper labels and descriptions

· Generate all paperwork for shipment

· Process and send e/-mail daily invoicing

· Maintain Invoicing Files

· Input information into computer system

· Interact with QC Department to ensure objectives met

· Pack all incoming products from Quality Control to FINO SLOC upon receipt

· Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.

· Comply with Government Import/Export Regulations

· Training on Receiving to support the Receiving Department

· Other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training: HS Diploma or Equivalent required Import/Export Compliance training a plus

Experience: An understanding of manufacturing operations regarding workflow

Knowledge/Skills: Computer skills for data entry Carrier programs for Domestic and International shipments a plus

Prior Shipping/Inventory Experience preferred.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet customer deadlines

· Ability to count and organize product for inventory and shipment

· Physical daily activities as follows. Standing 40%, Sitting 40%, Walking 20% lifting up to 50 lbs.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Primarily in shipping/receiving area. Inventory Room Shipping Dock= Weather Conditions apply.
