Job Description
We're looking for a People Operations Analyst to bring analytical rigor to a People team that moves fast and operates lean. You'll own the data infrastructure, systems, and reporting that drive how we understand our workforce — and you'll roll up your sleeves to execute the operational work that keeps our people programs running seamlessly.
This role is for someone who is energized by building something from a spreadsheet and equally comfortable managing the day-to-day details of the employee lifecycle. You'll be a close partner to the Director of People, and the connective tissue between data, systems, and the human moments that make Flow a place people want to work.
People Analytics & Insights
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Rippling and Google Sheets tracking headcount, attrition, compensation trends, and recruiting pipeline health
- Translate people data into actionable recommendations across headcount planning, compensation benchmarking, attrition forecasting, and workforce cost analysis
- Surface proactive workforce insights using AI tools, automation, and real-time data
- Partner with the Director of People on compensation strategy, including salary banding, merit cycles, and performance-related increases
- Manage the performance review cycle operationally — timelines, system setup, and summary analyses that equip managers and leadership to make informed coaching and compensation decisions
HRIS & Systems
- Own Rippling system integrity end-to-end: workflow configuration, troubleshooting, support escalations, and data accuracy across all employee lifecycle events
- Maintain Rippling as the single source of truth for people data and identify opportunities to improve automation and process efficiency
People Operations
- Own the full employee lifecycle from offer acceptance through offboarding, ensuring every touchpoint is operationally seamless and compliantly executed
- Manage immigration-related processes including visa maintenance and renewals, serving as the primary internal liaison to outside immigration counsel
- Maintain HR policy documentation and serve as a resource for employee and manager questions on policy interpretation and workplace guidelines
- Champion office culture and employee experience — organizing team events and creating touchpoints that make the Flow NYC office a place people are genuinely excited to show up to
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, HR, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in a people analytics, HR operations, or generalist role with a strong data component
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet modeling; experience with Rippling or comparable HRIS a strong plus
- Comfortable turning ambiguous data into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve HR processes, reporting, and decision-making
- Detail-oriented and systems-minded, with the flexibility to shift between analytical work and hands-on execution
- Proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Spanish fluency is a plus
