Our Infrastructure Advisory team provides trusted guidance on complex social, civil, and energy projects around the world, supporting financial institutions and project companies through every stage of delivery. We conduct comprehensive due diligence during bidding and provide ongoing technical oversight throughout construction, including monitoring progress, budgets, schedules, and project risks. As Independent Certifiers and Engineers, we offer objective third-party oversight for milestone verification, compliance, dispute resolution, and successful project completion.
Our Infrastructure Advisory team is looking for a Senior Project Consultant to join our Toronto team.
What You Get to Learn and Do
- Work and assist on between 2-4 projects with regular supervision.
- Prepare pre-bid and pre-financial close technical advisory reports.
- Completion of Realistic Outside Costs Analysis and Reasonable Downside Analysis.
- Attend and partake in multidisciplinary Project kick-off meetings for pre bid services.
- Attend and partake in lenders and rating agency calls.
- Complete site inspections and reports including photographs in support of construction period services.
- Work closely with senior team members to determine project changes.
- Prepare the technical components and fees for proposals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior level team members as designated, including the introduction to site visits.
- Networks occasionally promoting the business, cross-selling and building new contacts and enhancing client relationships.
What You'll Bring
- Having 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- University Degree or equivalent to any of the following: Construction Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Working towards or obtained a relevant professional qualification: PQS, MRICS, P. Eng, CPA, CFA, LEED AP
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills combined with sound judgment and initiative.
- Responsive to internal and external stakeholder requests.
- Self-motivated with good organizational, communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and ability to work to own initiatives.
- Demonstrates attention to detail to produce quality work with good time management.
- Hold a valid drivers license.
- Eligible to work in Canada or pursuing a work permit.

The typical hiring range for this Toronto role is $80K-$120K CAD per year. This represents base salary only, not total compensation, and BTY Group may offer more or less depending on a candidate's experience and qualifications. Compensation takes into account education, training, experience, location, market factors, and internal alignment. In line with Ontario Pay Transparency rules, a candidate's past salary will not be considered in determining pay.
