About this Location:
This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Our hotel is perfectly situated next to the Las Vegas Convention Center and just three miles from Harry Reid International Airport. With the monorail just steps away and world-class entertainment, dining, and shopping minutes from our door, you’ll be working in the heart of all that Las Vegas has to offer.
Why do we need you?
To serve food in a friendly, professional and efficient manner to patrons at counters and tables of coffee shops, lunchrooms and other dining establishments where food service is informal, thereby adding to a positive guest experience.
What you will do:
1. Presents menu, answers question and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
2. Writes order on check or memorizes it.
3. Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
4. Observes guest to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed.
5. Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier.
6. May ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies, and desserts, brew coffee, and perform other services as determined by establishment size and practice.
7. May clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course.
8. Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
9. Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
10. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property including wearing name identification badge.
11. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company. May price items on the menu.
Skills and abilities you bring:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions; lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
- Talk with different kinds of people to find out what services they want and to provide them with information.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.

Schedule & Hours:
This position is full time working 32-38 hours per week. Workdays will vary based on business needs. Shift hours will be 3:00pm – 11:00pm.
