Lo-Los Chicken & Waffles is a high-energy, down home southern style full serve restaurant that provides guests with hot, fresh, made to order southern comfort foods in a hometown environment full of flavors and soul satisfaction.

Position: Server

Location: Palms Place 4321 W Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89103

Shift: Open, Swing, Closing, Weekends, Holidays (Mandatory)

Starting Base Salary: $12.00 per hour plus tips

Expected Hours: 10 - 30 hours per week (based upon business needs)

Supervisory: Reports to Server Lead, Assist GM, and General Manager

Position Summary:

The Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service to all guests. This role includes greeting and seating guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, delivering items promptly, and anticipating guest needs throughout their visit. Servers maintain strong knowledge of the menu, ensure proper table maintenance, and collaborate closely with hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff to support smooth and consistent service. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay organized and composed in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and provide an excellent dining experience
• Suggest menu items and upselling specials, food, and beverages including alcohol
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation
• Anticipate guest needs and respond with professionalism and care
• Process payments and handle transactions responsibly
• Keep service areas clean, organized, and guestready
• Perform side duties and other tasks assigned by management
• Collaborate with hosts, server assistants, bussers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Handle busy periods with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Perform and adhere to legal standards of alcohol service; conduct ID checks, strictly monitor guest alcohol consumption, and perform service refusal during overconsumption

What Were Looking For:

• 2 years previous serving experience
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for hospitality
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy shifts
• Reliable, punctual, teamoriented, eager to serve
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong understanding of health regulations and ability to enforce cleanliness standards.
• Required certifications Food Handlers Certification and Title 4
