Job Description

Summary/Objective:
Provide prompt and efficient technical support on computer systems and applications at companies located in Madison, NJ, Elizabeth, NJ, Lakewood, NJ. Troubleshoot problems and communicate on the appropriate action in a customer-oriented manner.
Essential Functions and projects:
- Serve as first point of contact for technical assistance in person, via phone, e-mail, Teams, Service Desk
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Research questions using available information resources
- Advise user on issue and resolution process
- Follow standard help desk procedures
- Log all help desk interactions
- Install/configure computers & printers
- Escalate requests to next level support
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Inform management of recurring problems
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with IT or Computer Science major required
- Working knowledge and experience of computer, printers, software, network, IT security, Windows OS, Office 365
- Must be able to move/lift computers, monitors, and printers
- Excellent communication skills, Customer oriented
- Follow up standard procedures before making any changes
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Customer oriented
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000, plus bonus. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Our company will be relocating to a new corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ in Q1 of 2027. Candidates should be comfortable with this upcoming change in location.
