$18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring all toys and equipment are sanitized and in good condition.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Monitor and document infants' daily routines, including feeding, sleeping, and diaper changes.
- Collaborate with parents to establish consistent routines that support infants' growth and development needs.
Qualifications:
Prior experience caring for infants (newborn experience required).
Strong understanding of infant development and care routines.
Infant CPR & First Aid Certification (required).
Background check and clean driving record.
Non-smoker.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with sleep training methods and soothing methods.
Familiarity with baby-led weaning or early feeding practices.
Work Environment & Expectations
In-home care setting.
May require flexibility in scheduling (early mornings, evenings, occasional weekends).
Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the family’s home.
Minimal personal phone use while on duty.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry infants (up to 30 lbs).
Comfortable sitting, kneeling, and engaging in floor play.
