Front Desk and Bocce Program Assistant in La Quinta, California at Mountain View Country Club Inc

Join the vibrant team at Mountain View Country Club and be a crucial part of our Wellness Center and member recreation programs! We're seeking a dedicated, friendly, and service-oriented team member to serve as a receptionist for our Spa and Fitness Center while also assisting with our Bocce program.

Schedule: Part-Time / Seasonal (October–May)

Location: Mountain View Country Club

Responsibilities

Spa & Fitness Center

• Answer and return phone calls promptly and professionally.

• Provide assistance to members with booking spa and wellness services.

• Restock Wellness Center supplies as needed.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming fitness and spa environment.

• Handle laundry tasks.

• Process transactions accurately while providing excellent member service.

• Address member questions and service issues in a professional and friendly manner.

• Report any concerns, comments, or member feedback to the Wellness Director.

• Work closely with and report to the Spa Supervisor regarding daily operations, member service, and any concerns within the Spa and Fitness Center.

Bocce Program Assistance

• Assist with the weekly Bocce League and related member activities.

• Help officiate/refer Bocce matches and develop a strong understanding of the rules and regulations of the game.

• Assist with league setup and organization.

• Help create a fun, welcoming, and playful atmosphere for members participating in the Bocce program.

• Engage with members throughout league activities and encourage participation and camaraderie.

• Support the Bocce program team with maintaining a positive and enjoyable member experience.

• Previous customer service experience preferred.

• Computer literacy and ability to learn scheduling and point-of-sale systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.

• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

• Willingness to learn the rules and regulations of Bocce and assist with league activities.

• Strong interest in creating positive relationships and engaging with club members.

• Ability to maintain a professional yet fun and approachable presence with members.
