Senior Integrated Marketing Manager, Pre-Sale

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Integrated Marketing Manager, Pre-Sale based in the United States.

This is a strategic, client-facing marketing role focused on developing integrated programs that generate awareness, demand, and revenue for advertising partners.
You will shape go-to-market strategies and compelling value propositions across digital, print, social, podcast, video, email, mobile, and experiential channels.
The role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, editorial, operations, and events, giving you broad influence across the commercial organization.
You will turn industry insights and audience trends into differentiated marketing solutions, proposals, and sales opportunities.
You will work directly with senior sales leaders, clients, and agencies to present ideas and build compelling campaigns.
The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with significant autonomy to develop new initiatives, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.
Success requires strategic thinking, strong storytelling, commercial awareness, and the ability to turn creative ideas into measurable marketing solutions.

Accountabilities
  • Integrated Campaign Development: Develop high-impact content marketing and media programs spanning digital, print, mobile, video, audio, social, and events, from initial ideation through strategic proposal development.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Help define positioning, unique selling propositions, packaging, and go-to-market strategies that strengthen advertising solutions and create demand.
  • Sales Enablement: Create sell sheets, presentations, proposals, and other materials that clearly communicate the value of marketing solutions to advertising, media, and travel clients.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in sales calls and present integrated marketing programs and proposals directly to clients and agencies, serving as a trusted strategic marketing partner.
  • Industry Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of assigned industries and accounts, identifying relevant trends, insights, opportunities, and audience needs that can inform new revenue initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing Activations, Ad Operations, Brand Marketing, Editorial, Events, and other stakeholders to develop and execute cohesive programs.
  • Campaign Optimization: Partner with activation and operations teams to understand campaign performance and translate learnings into best practices for pitching, pricing, packaging, and solution development.
  • Pre-to-Post-Sale Continuity: Coordinate with sales and activation teams to ensure a smooth transition from proposal and sale through campaign execution.
  • Partnership Development: Build strategic industry partnerships that expand marketing capabilities, strengthen offerings, and create new commercial opportunities.
  • Innovation & New Opportunities: Identify emerging trends, technologies, platforms, and customer needs to develop differentiated products, programs, and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Thought Leadership: Share market insights, campaign learnings, and innovative ideas with sales and marketing teams to continuously improve commercial strategy.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5–7+ years of experience in integrated marketing, ideally within media, advertising, publishing, travel, or another multi-channel commercial environment.
  • Integrated Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, podcast, mobile, video, print, events, and related advertising channels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to transform market insights, audience trends, and business objectives into compelling marketing concepts, proposals, and commercial strategies.
  • Proposal & Content Writing: Excellent marketing and proposal-writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Comfortable presenting ideas, campaigns, and proposals directly to clients, agencies, and senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial Mindset: Ability to identify revenue opportunities, understand advertiser needs, and connect creative marketing ideas to measurable business outcomes.
  • Ownership: Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to establish priorities, take ownership of new initiatives, and drive projects through completion.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Operations, Events, and other functions.
  • Organization: Able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Technology: Hands-on familiarity with digital platforms and web technologies is preferred.
  • Creative Tools: Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote, and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Project Management: Familiarity with Asana or similar project management platforms is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
