Litigation & Financial Services Attorney – Georgia
Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) is seeking an experienced attorney to join our growing Georgia practice. This unique role offers a blend of civil defense litigation and financial services representation, providing the opportunity to handle a diverse and sophisticated caseload while working with national and regional clients.
The ideal candidate will devote approximately 70% of their practice to defense litigation and 30% to financial services matters, including creditor rights and default servicing work.
ResponsibilitiesDefense Litigation
- Manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution.
- Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, and prepare pleadings.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Provide strategic case analysis and reporting to clients.
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
Financial Services / Creditor Rights
- Handle residential and commercial foreclosure matters.
- Manage bankruptcy-related proceedings, including motions for relief from stay and contested matters.
- Represent lenders, servicers, and financial institutions in evictions, replevin actions, and creditor rights disputes.
- Review loan documents, title issues, and compliance matters.
- Appear in court on contested and uncontested financial services matters.
- Active membership in the Georgia Bar.
- 3+ years of litigation experience required.
- Experience with financial services, foreclosure, bankruptcy, creditor rights, eviction, or replevin matters strongly preferred.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
- Ability to independently manage a busy caseload while maintaining excellent client service.
