Position Summary
A successful and expanding personal injury law firm in with offices in Marietta and Douglasville is seeking a seasoned, results-driven Litigation Attorney, Personal Injury to join its litigation team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated litigator with 3-5 years of experience in plaintiff and/or insurance defense litigation who is ready to take full ownership of cases from intake through resolution, including trial.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel and representation in personal injury matters
- Manage a full caseload independently from inception through resolution, including trial when necessary
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
- Propound and respond to written discovery
- Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses
- Prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, pretrial conferences, and jury trials
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay current on applicable statutes, case law, and procedural rules
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients throughout the litigation process
- Develop case strategies designed to maximize recovery and client satisfaction
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia, in good standing
- Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience (personal injury plaintiff or insurance defense strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience managing cases from intake through trial
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Significant courtroom experience and confidence in hearings, mediations, and trials
- Strong negotiation and client counseling abilities
- Ability to independently manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in legal research platforms, case management systems, and standard office software
- High ethical standards and commitment to client-centered representation
