We live by our core values: Hope, Empathy, Accountability, Resilience, and Teamwork (H.E.A.R.T.). If these resonate with you, we invite you to become part of our dedicated and mission-driven team.

About the Role

In this role, you will manage and safeguard medical records while ensuring timely and compliant release of information. Your attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality will help create a seamless experience for both patients and care teams.

You’ll also serve as a key point of contact for individuals requesting information, providing responsive, compassionate service—often in time-sensitive situations.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain patient medical records in both electronic and paper formats
  • Process release of information (ROI) requests accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations
  • Scan, upload, and organize documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Verify authorization and validity of information requests
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support record accuracy and accessibility
  • Support audit readiness and compliance with organizational standards

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of medical records or ROI experience in a healthcare setting (or enrollment in a HIM program)
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    Why You'll Love Working Here

    • Competitive Pay & Incentives
    • Work-Life Balance: Generous PTO for vacation, sick time, and holidays
    • Comprehensive Benefits: Multiple health plans, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability
    • Retirement Planning: 403(b) with up to 8% company match after 7 years
    • Growth & Development: Tuition reimbursement, career advancement pathways, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility
    • Wellness & Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP), wellness incentives, and mental health resources
    • Inclusive Culture: Supportive, team-oriented environment with employee events and recognition
    • Additional Perks: Cell phone discounts, travel reimbursement, LegalShield, pet insurance, and more
