The Corporate Finance Manager will serve as a trusted finance partner to corporate function leaders, owning financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis. This role requires strong modeling capabilities, business judgment, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Partner with G&A cost center leaders across People, Finance, Legal, Tax, and other corporate functions to drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Own monthly and quarterly Actuals vs. Forecast processes, delivering variance analysis and executive-ready insights that connect financial results to operational drivers.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, aligning headcount plans, vendor investments, and discretionary spending with business priorities.
- Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and resource allocation.
- Leverage automation and AI-powered tools to improve financial workflows, accelerate analysis, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Collaborate with Accounting teams on month-end close activities, including accruals, reclassifications, and validation of financial data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, establish structure in ambiguous environments, and strengthen financial operations.
- Prepare and present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership teams.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while adapting to evolving business needs and organizational goals.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial expertise with excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, partnering with executives, and translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or a related analytical role.
- Experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management initiatives.
- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to build data-driven analyses and executive-level reporting.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Experience working in a high-growth technology, SaaS, marketplace, or public company environment preferred.
- Background in consulting, equity research, analytics, or data science is a plus.
- Interest and experience using AI and automation tools to improve financial processes and insights.
- Competitive compensation package with a base salary range of $153,000 - $161,500 CAD for Canadian-based candidates.
