Terrain Park Crew Supervisor in Windham, New York at Windham Mountain Club

Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.

Seasonal Position: This role is available for the winter season.

Pay: 23-25 per hour based on experience

Anticipated Start Dates: December 15th through December 20th

*This start date is weather dependent

Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Position Summary: Assists with the design, construction, maintenance, and daily operation of Windham Mountain Club terrain parks. Supervises Park Crew, promotes guest safety, coordinates park events, and ensures terrain parks are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Park Crew.
• Assist with park design, construction, snowmaking, and feature maintenance.
• Ensure park safety through signage, fencing, inspections, and guest education.
• Open and close parks; monitor conditions and adjust access as needed.
• Coordinate with Grooming, Marketing, and other departments for park operations and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• Expert snowboarder and/or freestyle skier.
• 2+ years of terrain park experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors in winter conditions.
• Walk, climb, bend, kneel, and test park features safely.
