Location: Ballers Philadelphia, 1325 North Beach Street, Philadelphia, PA 19125
Reports to: Food and Beverage Director
Employment Type: Part-Time (Hourly)

Job Description
Ballers is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing ingredients, supporting the kitchen staff, and ensuring food is ready for service. This role is essential to keeping our kitchen running smoothly and maintaining the high standards our guests expect.
Your day-to-day will include:
Washing, chopping, measuring, and preparing ingredients
Following prep lists and recipe guidelines from the kitchen leadership
Assisting with food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas and equipment
Supporting cooks and chefs with basic tasks during service
Alerting kitchen leadership to low inventory or prep needs
Assisting with opening and closing kitchen procedures
Skills & Qualifications
6+ months of kitchen experience preferred (but not required)
Ability to follow directions and standard recipes
Serve Safe certification or willingness to obtain
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
