Accountabilities
  • Conduct quantitative financial analyses related to budgets, expenses, investments, and other financial activities.

  • Monitor program financial performance and communicate actual results, expected outcomes, and significant variances to relevant stakeholders.

  • Recommend improvements to financial procedures, planning practices, and internal controls.

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

  • Support financial compliance, audit preparation, and reporting requirements to help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

  • Exercise independent judgment when addressing complex financial challenges and provide guidance or support to colleagues with less experience.

  • Contribute to ongoing projects and financial initiatives, ensuring deliverables are accurate and completed within established deadlines.

Requirements
  • Associate degree with five to seven years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, particularly in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Strong financial analysis and quantitative reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into practical recommendations.

  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, expense analysis, and financial performance monitoring.

  • Ability to develop and interpret financial models to support business decisions and evaluate financial outcomes.

  • Understanding of cash flow, revenue, expenditures, depreciation, investments, and financial controls.

  • Strong analytical thinking and statistical skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial findings to stakeholders from different functional backgrounds.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment, and resolve complex problems.

  • Willingness to collaborate across teams and serve as a resource to colleagues when needed.

  • Ability to work for extended periods at a desk or computer in a primarily climate-controlled office environment.

  • Willingness to undertake limited travel, as the role requires little to no travel.
