Licensed Veterinary Technician, Surgery

Full-Time | 4x10s | Days only with some weekend coverage
$30/hr + $6,000 sign-on bonus

Join the Virginia Veterinary Centers, a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital, where you’ll build advanced Surgery skills working hands-on with high-acuity cases while working at the top of your license, making a real impact every shift.

- Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.)
- You can easily adapt to the different needs of each patient and are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.
- You are looking for a career and are passionate about learning and growing in the industry and caring for animals.
Qualifications
- Certified, Registered, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT)
- Surgery or specialty experience required
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment
