Part-Time Piano Moving and Delivery Specialist in Memphis, Tennessee at AMRO Music Stores Inc

Starting Pay: $18/hour + commissions + tips

Amro Music is seeking a dependable, hard-working, and self-motivated individual to join our delivery team as a Piano Moving & Delivery Specialist. This position is hands-on, physical, and detail-oriented — not warehouse or retail work. You’ll help move and deliver high-value instruments to homes, schools, churches, and performance spaces across the Mid-South.

The right candidate takes pride in doing careful, professional work, communicates clearly, and can be trusted to get the job done without constant oversight. You’ll work closely with a small, experienced crew that values safety, reliability, and teamwork above all else.

• Safely move, load, deliver, and set up pianos for customers and institutions

• Plan each move carefully with your team before lifting — safety and strategy first

• Assess pathways, routes, and conditions to protect instruments and property

• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous manner with every customer

• Assist with setup, light assembly, and basic service as needed

• Represent Amro Music professionally on every jobsite and delivery

This is a physical, field-based position — not a warehouse, retail, or music-studio job. It’s best suited for someone who values consistent, dependable, hands-on work and takes pride in seeing a job completed correctly the first time.

• Thorough Training: Hands-on instruction from experienced professionals; we’ll teach you safe and proper techniques

• Professional Environment: A small, respectful team where everyone’s contribution matters

• Advancement Opportunities: Room to grow within one of the Mid-South’s most respected music companies

• Reliable and consistent — shows up on time and ready every day

• Self-motivated — stays productive without supervision or reminders

• Team-oriented — communicates clearly and looks out for coworkers

• Physically capable — enjoys active, hands-on work

• Safety-conscious and detail-minded — careful with every step and lift

• Valid driver’s license (required); Class F endorsement within 2 weeks (we assist)

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy instruments safely as part of a team

• Occasional weekend availability for special deliveries or events

• Professional appearance and demeanor

If you take pride in doing careful, consistent work and want to be part of a team that values professionalism and trust, apply today to become a Piano Moving & Delivery Specialist at Amro Music.
