Palmetto Family Homecare is looking for compassionate and dependable PCA’s and CNA’s to provide quality care for female clients living with ALS in the Summerville/Cane Bay area!

What We’re Looking For:

• PCA or CNA experience and ALS knowledge
• Experience using patient equipment, including Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and transfer boards
• Reliable transportation
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiver

Pay starts at $17+ per hour, based on experience!

• Experience with clients with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease)
• Knowledge of ALS and care for these individuals
• Experience with assisting clients with all ADL's
• Ability to operate patient equipment...i.e. hoyer lift, gait belt, sliding/transfer board
• Able to rotate/turn clients every two hours to prevent bed sores
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
• Specialized training in mobility, swallowing, breathing, and communication in regards to ALS is highly preferred
