ABOUT THE ROLE:
Automotive Business Development Center (BDC) Associate

We are seeking a polished, professional, and customer-focused Business Development Center (BDC) Associate who is passionate about delivering an exceptional ownership experience from the very first phone call. As a member of our team, you will serve as the voice of our dealership, helping customers with sales and service inquiries while creating a welcoming, seamless experience that exceeds expectations.
The ideal candidate is polished, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Professionally answer incoming calls for all dealership departments and direct customers to the appropriate team member.
- Build rapport with customers while providing a warm, knowledgeable, and concierge-level experience.
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers using dealership-provided leads and customer lists.
- Schedule and confirm service appointments while ensuring a convenient and personalized experience for every client.
- Verify customer and prospect information and accurately document all interactions within the dealership CRM.
- Follow up with sales and service customers to ensure complete satisfaction and reinforce our commitment to exceptional service.
- Utilize phone, text messaging, and email to maintain consistent and timely communication with customers.
- Partner closely with Service and Sales Managers to support dealership goals and deliver a seamless customer journey.
- Welcome guests and assist with showroom reception as needed.
- Maintain detailed records, appointment activity, and customer follow-up to ensure no opportunity is missed.
- Complete the Mercedes-Benz certification and training curriculum.
- Participate in ongoing professional development focused on luxury hospitality, customer experience, dealership processes, and our organizational culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of Automotive BDC experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional phone presence with exceptional etiquette
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude with a passion for delivering world-class customer service
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to excellence
- Product knowledge; sales skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity
- Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance, grooming and conduct
- Hold current and valid driver license
- Must be able to work a fluctuating schedule six days per week
Schedule: This is a full-time (40 hours per week)
Work Location: In person
Starting Compensation: $18.00 hourly
