You'll balance day-to-day fixes with proactive maintenance, keeping the property guest-ready and code-compliant, all while treating guests in a warm and friendly manner.THE TASK AT HANDConduct ongoing room and property inspections to identify and address repair needs.Perform general repairs — drywall, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and furniture fixes.Install, replace, and program guest room televisions.Repair and maintain heating/cooling units and water lines, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment.Maintain accurate repair and preventative maintenance records, adhering to all local, state, and federal codes.Practice safe work habits, complying with MSDS and OSHA standards.Support the operations team as a Houseperson during staffing shortages or peak check-in/out periods.Work a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy and emergency repair needs.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired2+ years of experience in a maintenance\engineering role.Working knowledge of AC systems and refrigeration, comfortable using skilled machinist equipment (lathes, drill presses, power saws, mills).PreferredProfessional skilled trade licensing in plumbing and electrical.PhysicalAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor temperatures and in proximity to moving mechanical parts, electric currents, heights, heat, and chemicals.Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch in tight, restricted spaces.Able to lift up to 40lbs.Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUCompetitive compensation package with medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus 401(k).Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay.Career advancement and professional development as we open new hotels and restaurants nationwide.Employee discounts across our entire portfolio (25 hotels and more to come!).
