CENTRAL SUPPLY CLERK – CVI – Rehab at Hartsfield Village (Powers Health)

SCHEDULE:

Full-time: 7:30am – 4:00pm (Monday through Friday) *Flexible Start Time*

Areas of Responsibility:

• Order, stock and maintain sufficient quantity of nursing supplies to permit provision of ordered and necessary nursing care.

• Manage equipment such as wheelchairs, scrubs, wound pumps, CPM machines, etc.
• Provide support in special situations

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school graduate. Some college or technical school preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a direct care capacity
• Familiar with commonly used nursing supplies, locations and storage methods as well as charge out system for nursing supplies to maintain proper inventory.
• Understands proper techniques in cleaning and disinfecting bedside equipment to kill pathogens.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Effective communication skills verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of data systems, Microsoft Word & Excel.
