Job Description
Allegiant Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Registered Nurses to provide weekend coverage for hospice patients throughout the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Kenosha areas.
This is a great opportunity for experienced nurses looking to earn additional income through flexible weekend work without committing to another full-time position. The role offers autonomy, manageable PRN coverage, and the opportunity to provide meaningful care to patients and families.
The Weekend PRN Hospice RN provides skilled nursing visits and on-call support based on patient needs. Responsibilities may include symptom assessment, medication education, changes in condition, death visits, family support, and coordination with facilities and other members of the hospice team.
This is a PRN position. Weekend hours and coverage needs may vary based on patient census and the scheduled on-call rotation.

- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
- At least one year of nursing experience
- Hospice, palliative care, home health, long-term care, or end-of-life experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance
- Ability to travel within the assigned service area
- Comfortable using an electronic medical record system
