Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy, well-established cardiology practice.

This position will focus primarily on inpatient hospital rounding.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.

Key Responsibilities

Inpatient Hospital Rounding (Primary Responsibility)

Perform daily hospital rounds and manage hospitalized cardiology patients.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.Collaborate closely with cardiologists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.Assist with discharge planning and ensure appropriate continuity of care.Qualifications

Current Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.Prior cardiology experience strongly preferred, particularly in inpatient cardiology or hospital-based care.Strong knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, diagnostic testing, and treatment protocols.Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to manage a busy patient population and prioritize clinical responsibilities.Strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.Compensation

Annual Salary: $140,000-150,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The potential base pay range for this position is $140,000-$150,000 annually
