Human Resources Generalist in DALLAS, Texas at Presbyterian Village North

As an HR Generalist, you'll support assigned departments as a trusted HR resource for teammates and leaders while managing a variety of day-to-day Human Resources functions.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Provide day-to-day HR support to assigned client groups and serve as a resource for teammates and leaders.
2. Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned departments, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment processing.
3. Partner with hiring leaders to monitor vacancies, recruiting activity, and staffing needs.
4. Support new teammate onboarding, background screening, I-9 compliance, orientation, and required employment documentation.
5. Process and maintain HRIS transactions, personnel records, employment changes, and employment verifications.
6. Support payroll and timekeeping processes and assist with routine teammate and leader questions.
7. Assist with HR compliance, audits, training, performance management, attendance, engagement, and other HR programs.
8. Maintain HR and recruiting reports and metrics and help identify opportunities to improve HR processes.
9. Partner with the HR Director and HR team on employee matters, special projects, and organizational initiatives.

1. 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist, coordinator, specialist, or recruiting role.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent HR experience may be considered.
3. Experience with full-cycle recruiting and applicant tracking systems.
4. Working knowledge of HR practices and federal and state employment laws.
5. Experience with HRIS and payroll/timekeeping systems preferred.
6. Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and relationship-building skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
8. Healthcare, senior living, or high-volume workforce experience is a plus.
