About the role

• Provides accounting support within the Finance department.
• Pay Range $30 - $35 DOE

What you'll do

• Provide reconciliation support for balance sheet accounts
• Assist with the reconciliation of bank statement activity to the general ledger
• Assist as directed with auditor requests relating to the Association's annual audit.
• Maintain filing system for journal entries, bank statements, external reports, and other miscellaneous items.
• Special projects as directed by the Accounting Manager or Director of Finance.
• Assist with month-end close process. This includes working with Excel spreadsheets, graphs, and account analysis.
• Assist with the Association's annual budget preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from a college or university and three or more years of related accounting work experience.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Microsoft Outlook E-Mail Software
• Experience with Jonas Accounting Software a plus
