About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Receiving Lead to join our team! Tailwind is a rapidly growing company known for its commitment to innovation, growth, and excellence. As a Receiving Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily receiving, delivery coordination, and inventory support functions for the location. You will serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communication, ensure all deliveries are accurately received and verified, and maintain compliance with company procedures and airport security requirements. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced airport hospitality environment are essential to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Place product and supply orders according to operational needs and inventory levels, verifying accuracy prior to submission
- Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries for accuracy, quality, and completeness against invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately and maintain organized receiving documentation and records
- Coordinate delivery schedules with vendors and airport receiving teams to support operational flow
- Ensure all receiving activities comply with airport security protocols, including badging and delivery access requirements
- Communicate with airport operations and security personnel as needed regarding delivery access and compliance
- Assist with inventory tracking, product reconciliation, and monthly inventory counts
- Monitor stock levels, communicate shortages proactively, and ensure proper product storage and rotation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for receiving-related vendor communication and resolve product or supply chain concerns
- Maintain accurate receiving logs and ensure invoice documentation is completed and submitted timely
- Support audits, internal reviews, and operational reporting requests
- Follow all company financial, receiving control, and safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of receiving, inventory, warehouse, logistics, or operational support experience
- Hospitality, foodservice, retail, or airport operations experience preferred
- Experience with purchase orders, invoices, inventory systems, and receiving processes
- Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory/order management systems preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a background check and TSA screening to obtain an airport badge
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Adherence to Tailwind policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Commitment to maintaining a professional work environment and representing Tailwind positively
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Airport hospitality environment with regular interaction with vendors, delivery personnel, airport security, and operational leadership
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting; ability to stand for extended periods
- Schedule flexibility required to accommodate delivery schedules and airport operational requirements
