AVP Enterprise Implementations, Migrations & Customer Success

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AVP Enterprise Implementations, Migrations & Customer Success based in the United States.

The Associate Vice President Enterprise Implementations, Migrations & Customer Success will lead large-scale implementation and migration initiatives that shape how complex healthcare solutions are delivered to clients.
This executive-level role is responsible for developing enterprise implementation strategies, governance models, and scalable operating frameworks.
You will oversee cross-functional programs involving technology, operations, finance, compliance, legal, and client teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
The position requires a strategic leader who can translate complex business requirements into actionable roadmaps while maintaining strong client relationships.
You will drive operational excellence, improve implementation capabilities, and support long-term growth through technology-enabled transformation.

Accountabilities:

The AVP Enterprise Implementations, Migrations & Customer Success will own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise implementation and migration programs, ensuring successful client outcomes and scalable delivery models.

  • Serve as the enterprise leader for complex implementations and migrations, overseeing strategy, governance, roadmaps, budgets, milestones, risks, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead large-scale migration initiatives by establishing execution frameworks, coordinating resources, managing dependencies, and ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations and organizational priorities.
  • Drive collaboration across product, technology, operations, finance, legal, compliance, sales, and client teams to ensure alignment on priorities, decisions, accountability, and execution plans.
  • Develop and continuously improve implementation methodologies, including planning frameworks, readiness assessments, resource models, quality standards, training processes, and post-launch improvement practices.
  • Translate complex client, operational, regulatory, and technology requirements into structured implementation roadmaps that balance timelines, risks, costs, and business objectives.
  • Provide executive-level communication through strategic updates, presentations, risk reporting, decision materials, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by aligning migration strategies, technical capabilities, operational readiness, and business goals to strengthen relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish performance measurement frameworks using delivery metrics, client feedback, and implementation outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify future-state capabilities, technology investments, process improvements, and operating model enhancements needed to support enterprise scalability.
  • Lead and mentor teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, and excellence across complex, matrixed environments.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives and operational priorities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise transformation leader with a strong background in implementations, migrations, customer success, and cross-functional program delivery.

  • 12+ years of professional experience in operations, sales, information technology, consulting, or related business functions.
  • 5+ years of experience in client-facing or customer success leadership roles.
  • 8+ years of experience leading teams and managing people.
  • Proven experience leading complex enterprise implementations, migrations, technology transformations, or large-scale business change initiatives.
  • Strong program and project management expertise, including managing multiple stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and business outcomes.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed enterprise environment and create clarity when ownership spans multiple teams.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging clients, vendors, and senior leaders.
  • Strong decision-making abilities with the ability to resolve ambiguity, establish accountability, and drive execution.
  • Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to balance client expectations, regulatory requirements, operational constraints, technology considerations, and financial objectives.
  • Experience building trusted relationships and influencing teams across all levels of an organization.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
  • Preferred: Experience in pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, managed care, or healthcare technology environments.
  • Preferred: Background in business consulting or enterprise transformation programs.
  • Preferred: Experience leading platform migrations, client conversions, adjudication programs, or large-scale technology-enabled initiatives.
