This role is dynamic and autonomous but also well supported by the Vice President, Compliance and the General Managers at the supporting site facilities who are excited to welcome a new team member.

Position Summary

The QEHS and Data Security Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of Full Circle Electronics’ Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Security Management Systems (QEHS MS). This role assists with ensuring compliance to applicable regulations and certifications, facilitates safe and environmentally responsible operations, monitors quality systems, and maintains facility and customer data security requirements. This role will support two facilities one in Westminster, Colorado and the other in Alpharetta, Georgia, this will require time allocated to these sites equitably. This position helps drive a culture of continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all QEHS and Security functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS)

  • Support conformance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and R2 standards.
  • Ensure facility compliance with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct and document regular inspections (daily, weekly, monthly) of equipment, vehicles, and facilities; report and follow up on findings.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Track and manage preventive maintenance and calibration schedules.
  • Coordinate emergency response planning and training.

Security and Data Protection

  • Serve as the designated Data Protection Representative for the facility.
  • Ensure camera systems are maintained to me standard requirements.
  • Monitor data handling, including sanitization and data destruction processes.
  • Conduct and review security-related inspections and respond to identified risks.

Training and Communication

  • Develop, update, and deliver QEHS and Security training programs.
  • Maintain the facility training matrix and documentation.
  • Lead monthly QEHS and Security Committee meetings; record and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Promote staff awareness of QEHS and data security requirements.

Compliance and Auditing

  • Assist with internal, external and customer audits and corrective/preventive action tracking.
  • Maintain facility compliance calendars and prepare required reports.
  • Work with General Manager to qualify vendors and contractors for QEHS conformance.
  • Ensure downstream recyclers meet company requirements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support QEHS and Security objectives and metrics tracking.
  • Coordinate initiatives to drive safety, environmental, and operational improvements.
  • Track customer satisfaction and complaints to support quality improvement.
Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in EHS, Quality, or Security management within a manufacturing, recycling, or industrial environment preferred.

Preferred Training and Certifications

  • Occupational Health & Safety Technologist (OHST) or equivalent.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • R2 Standard, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 training and/or operational experience.

Skills and Competencies

  • General understanding of regulatory compliance and management system standards.
  • Ability to implement and enforce policies in a professional and constructive manner.
  • Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and strong presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Tools and Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using standard office and communication equipment.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to work in a warehouse or production setting around large-scale equipment (balers, forklifts, pneumatic tools, etc.).
  • Must be able to walk, stand, or perform inspections throughout the facility as needed.
