The Staff Accountant will also be responsible for payroll administration and reconciliation, including bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, supporting payroll tax reporting, and coordinating payroll-related reconciliations and expense reports.
Additional responsibilities include accounts payable, vendor invoice processing, payment processing, vendor statement reconciliations, sales and use tax reporting, property tax filings, and supporting external audits and tax advisors. The position will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred and 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, investigate discrepancies, process information quickly, and develop practical solutions to accounting and operational issues.
This position requires someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively across departments. The ability to anticipate potential questions or issues, take initiative, and follow through on responsibilities is essential.
