Denali Water Solutions is hiring a Class A CDL Route Driver for a new Organix route serving the Buffalo and Amherst area. You will operate a power unit with a Wabo dump trailer, primarily servicing Tops and Walmart locations. The route involves collecting ZDP food waste material, which can have strong odors, and delivering it to a digester.

The route is expected to operate mainly within New York. Occasional support assignments or equipment moves may require travel into Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, or New Jersey.

• Safely operate and maneuver a power unit with a Wabo dump trailer.

• Service assigned locations and deliver collected material to a digester.

• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Grease assigned equipment weekly and report maintenance needs promptly.

• Communicate equipment issues, DOT concerns, route updates, and delays to management.

• Stay in regular contact with management and adapt to schedule changes or equipment moves.

• Operate safely in winter conditions, including some snowfall and icy conditions. Operations are paused during severe snowstorms.

• A valid Class A CDL and the ability to safely operate the assigned equipment.

• Strong attention to vehicle inspections, equipment care, and DOT requirements.

• Clear, dependable daily communication with management.

• Flexibility with early start times, changing schedules, and occasional travel for support needs.

• Comfort working around food waste material and its odors.

• Sound judgment when driving in changing winter weather conditions.

Organix routes can change as customer and equipment needs shift. We’re looking for a driver who takes care of their equipment, communicates early when something needs attention, and can adjust when the day’s plan changes.
