As a Release Management Intern, you will be a part of the corporate applications team and gain exposure to a variety of projects and activities within the energy industry and technology. This position is temporary, nonexempt, and full-time/hourly during the summer, with the potential to continue on a part-time/hourly basis throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and communicating software releases across multiple platforms
- Support release managers in maintaining release calendars, deployment schedules, and change documentation
- Help prepare and distribute release communications, including release schedules, deployment notifications, and post release updates
- Participate in change management processes, including Change Advisory Board (CAB) preparation and documentation support
- Monitor release completion and assist with postrelease reporting
- Assist with daily data cleanup and maintenance activities within Azure DevOps
- Perform data entry, reporting, and metrics tracking for release performance and compliance
- Update standard operating procedures, workflows, and lessons learned
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Release Management team as needed
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes and procedures
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile, or DevOps concepts (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate) is a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
