This role is a high-impact, client-facing position focused on managing and growing long-term commercial relationships across industrial and technical markets in British Columbia. You will act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are proactively understood and met with tailored solutions. The position combines strategic account planning, technical product understanding, and hands-on sales execution in a highly relationship-driven environment. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth within existing accounts while identifying new opportunities across key industries. Working closely with internal sales, support, and leadership teams, you will ensure seamless customer experience and delivery excellence. This is a field-oriented role that requires strong autonomy, travel across the BC territory, and a consistent focus on results, service quality, and long-term partnerships.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding strong client relationships across end users, distributors, OEMs, and consulting firms within the assigned territory, ensuring consistent achievement of sales objectives. You will lead strategic account planning and execute growth initiatives that align customer needs with product and service offerings.

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business growth objectives
  • Identify client needs proactively and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders (inside sales, technical support, and leadership) to ensure successful delivery
  • Negotiate commercial terms within defined authority levels and manage contract discussions
  • Conduct regular client visits across British Columbia to strengthen partnerships and expand business opportunities
  • Stay informed on product developments, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Provide structured market feedback to support product and commercial strategy
Requirements:

This role requires a strong blend of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and relationship management expertise, ideally supported by experience in industrial or engineering-driven sales environments. You should be confident engaging technical stakeholders and capable of translating complex product offerings into clear value propositions.

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in strategic technical sales
  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing sales or account management role, ideally within industrial or technical sectors
  • Experience with electric motors, transformers, or variable frequency drives considered a strong asset
  • Proven ability to manage and grow key accounts in a B2B environment
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly across British Columbia
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada on a permanent basis (no current or future sponsorship available)
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of CAD $90,000–$100,000 annually
  • Commission structure and performance-based incentives
  • Company vehicle provided for territory travel
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, and wellness coverage)
  • Exposure to a leading organization in industrial engineering solutions
  • Strong team-oriented and customer-focused culture
  • Opportunity to work across diverse industries including energy, utilities, mining, and manufacturing
  • Professional growth within a technical, solution-driven sales environment.
